2017-24
Portuondo pitched a little in the Cuban National Series as a teenager in the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons. From 2020-22, he didn’t pitch anywhere for which there’s any record.
In the winter of 2023-24, Portuondo appeared in five games, four starts, in the Nicaraguan Winter League, then made one start in the Venezuelan Winter League in which he failed to retire a batter. Between the two leagues, he gave up 21 hits and 13 walks in 17.1 IP, while striking out 18.
