The Pittsburgh Pirates kick off their final stretch of games on Tuesday with three home games against the Milwaukee Brewers. They enter the final six games with a 73-83 record, needing to split the rest of the games to finish with the same amount of wins as they did last year.
Bailey Falter, Luis Ortiz, and Mitch Keller are the three scheduled starters for the Milwaukee series.
With entire Minor League schedule over, here’s a look back at how each affiliate did during the 2024 season.
Indianapolis Indians: 77-70
Altoona Curve: 62-76
Greensboro Grasshoppers: 75-55
Bradenton Marauders: 54-77
FCL Pirates: 36-23
DSL Pirates Gold: 32-22
DSL Pirates Black: 19-36
The Grasshoppers were the lone full-season team to make the playoffs, as they finished with the best run differential in the South Atlantic League. They forced a game three, but ultimately lost to Hudson Valley in the first round.
The FCL Pirates did make it to the championship of the Complex League, but lost to the Tigers. Quite a few of the teams played to last place finishes (DSL Pirates Black, Marauders, Curve).
